It’s been a while since my last post. I’ve been reflecting on why the energy faded a bit and what can I learn from it. My sole-searching led me to discover two things. For one - I get most energy from writing about things that are on my mind just now. And second- it’s ok if these posts are not perfect. So, here we go!
On my mind- my new favorite pants! Absolutely love them. Best of cargo-pants and best of sweat-pants combined in one: Soft, roomy, comfy, versatile. Here is why they work so well:
Love side pockets! Pants without pockets are a bit like muffins without chocolate. Doable, but missing all the fun. Notice the pockets are set a bit more to the front, and not in the side seam. It does the trick of reducing the optical width of the front panel vs widening it with extra fabric.
Color is perfectly versatile. Just the right tone of brown that is suggests softness, is a very natural tone and goes well with any natural shade of white, beige, greige, grey, black, blue etc... Works well with leather belt.
Flexibility of style: Sporty but elegant, smartly cut and yet so comfortable - perfect pair. Can be dressed up or down. I like the look with high heels and fun chunky sweater!
With these pants on, I got to think - could it be that soft fabric cargos is the next big thing after sweat pants? If yes - I am all for that trend.
Talking of next trends - I just spotted the cargo version of thong pants the other day. The girl wore them with a crop top and an oversize jacket, and looked stunning beautful. Yes, you read this right - thong pants are back! She wore the 'classic' version as thong pants. Yet my little research suggests that this time thong pants are also coming in hip cut-out versions. As lovely as it looked on that girl, these are not exactly for me. So I will be celebrating my cargos!
Have a comfy day!
