Navigating Colors: Crafting a Unique Palette

Today's adventure was all about colors, and let me tell you, it was anything but ordinary. I was reminded today that we're all special in our own way. While color theory is a great guide, what really clicks is unique to each of us!

I met up with my client at a local café a few weeks ago, thinking "Warm autumn, easy peasy." Well, turns out, I was in for a surprise!

Jump to today, we're surrounded by drapes, a whole world of colors waiting for us. We dove in, excited to find the perfect shades for her. Little did I know, we were about to take a detour from the usual.

My client, she's not one to stick to the basics. Warm or cool? Nah, not for her. We decided to start with the cool section and work from there. We could definitely rule out Spring, I was still thinking maybe Summer...wait, could it really be Winter? That was a bit of a shocker!

As we went through the drapes, it became clear - she's all about those cool undertones and the darker, twilight-like shades. Dark Winter? Almost, but the amount of contrast felt like a dive into the deep end. It was when I gave up trying to fit the mold, when her palette started coming together.

Armed with our handpicked drapes, we created a palette that breaks the mold. A mix of Dark Winter and Cool, Muted Summer, - who would have thought?! Yet, this was just the right subtle touches. She's truly one of a kind!

Today's session was refreshingly different. I'm thrilled she took the time for this journey, and I know it's going to boost her confidence big time! Remember - you are one of the kind, not an answer to some multiple choice questionnaire! Be uniquely yourself!
